A total of 63,242 people have traveled by air through Tribhuvan International Airport in Badadasain for two days. More than 63,000 people traveled by air both domestically and internationally on October 24th Phulpati and 26th (Mahaashtami/Mahanavami).
According to the spokesperson of Tribhuvan International Airport, Rinji Sherpa, a total of 31,765 domestic flights have traveled by air from 17,329 two-way domestic flights on October 24 and 14,436 from 278 flights on October 25.
Similarly, on October 24th, there were 16,509 two-way flights and 14,968 flights on October 25th, making a total of 31,477 flights, according to the airport office. This number of flights and passengers is for both arrivals and departures.
Earlier, on October 14, there were 559 domestic and international flights on the same day. On the same day, 35,704 people traveled by air through that flight. On October 11th and 12th, due to incessant rains, the road network was blocked due to floods and landslides in various parts of the country.
Due to the increase in the number of both domestic and international flights at the international airport, the terminal building of the airport was crowded with passengers. According to the airport office, air flights are becoming normal now. On October 13, 14, 15 and 16, air traffic increased.
